Dr. Sapna Malviya M. Pharm. (Hons.), MBA (HR), Ph.D. (Pharm. Sci.), Head of Institute, Modern Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Indore. She is Innovation Ambassador, MOE Innovation Cell, Government of India and Institute Innovation Council, Ministry of Education Initiative. She has received grants from AICTE (MODROB, GOC, SPICES), MPCST, AERB and DBT. She has received her pharmaceutical education from B. R. Nahata College of Pharmacy, Mandsaur (M.P.). She is Qualified ZED Consultant to Pharmaceutical Industries. An academician par excellence, she has superlative research expertise in Pharmaceutical Sciences. She completed her B. Pharm and M. Pharm . She added another Postgraduate degree in Management . Later she finally completed Doctorate in Pharmaceutical Sciences. She is presently working as Head of Institute, Pharmacy, Head of R & D Cell, Mentor at MSME Sponsored, Modern Incubator and other portfolios in Modern Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences. She has the distinguished honour of guiding many undergraduate and postgraduate students in their project and research work. She is Chief Coordinator and Convenor of many National Seminar’s, Co-Chairman of Inaugural Committee of Indian Pharmaceutical Association, MP state Branch Indore, Speaker in Faculty Development Programme, Executive Development Programme coordinator of Various seminars and Lecturers. Her scientific endeavours includes Best Jury award in 7th Academic Brilliance Awards-19 organized by EET CRS Research wing for Excellence in Professional Education & Industry, Delhi in 2019, awarded as Best Teacher of Pharmacognosy, by APTI MP State Branch, Bhopal, received Excellence Award in MPCST sponsored National Seminar as well as Excellent Academician & Researcher award of the year in Central India” in the recognition of excellence in Academic practices and Research excellence in the field of Pharmaceutical Science in international conference. She has received Distinguished Professor Award in DST sponsored conference & IPA MP state Award ceremony 2021. Dr. Malviya untainted achievements are recognized by her publications in various revered peer-reviewed National and International journals which are more than hundred in number, authored many textbooks for well renowned publishers like CBS, chapters, presented research papers, written articles and columns in newspapers on pharmacy education, guided postgraduate and graduate research projects to date. She is an Honorary Life member of IPA and APTI. She is State President of the Women's Forum of SPSSR. She has organized many conferences /workshops /seminars /FDP’s/EDP/EAC. She has given research consultancy and training programs in Pharma institutions as well industries. She has received a patent on Poly herbal formulation for treatment of Alzihmer’s and eight design patents for various pharmaceutical Instruments. She has actively been involved in various Preclinical studies on Diabetes Mellitus, Assessment of various pharmacological activities of plant drugs and Phytopharmacological Evaluation of Plant drugs for Antidiabetic, Antiobesity and various other health disorders. Dr. Malviya has special acumen in planning, organizing, directing, and executing events as she has coordinated various events of Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA) and Association of Pharmaceuticals Teachers of India (APTI). She has anchored various symposiums and forums.
