1. Prof. (Dr.) R. Shanmuga Sundaram, M.Pharm (Pharmacology), PhD, is currently serving as Principal, Madin College of Pharmacy, Malappuram, Kerala. 2. He possesses over 30 years of rich academic, administrative, and research experience in pharmaceutical education. 3. His core research interests include CNS pharmacology, neurodegeneration, neuroinflammation, and behavioral studies. 4. He has successfully guided more than 80 PG students and 8 PhD scholars under reputed universities. 5. Dr. Sundaram has an excellent research profile with patents, textbooks, book chapters, and extensive national and international journal publications. 6. He has more than 100 publications in peer-reviewed journals. 7. He has received best oral presentation and poster presentations at various National and international conferences. 8. He was the President of the IPA Bhavani-Kumarapalayam Local Branch from 1998 to 2000. 9. He has served as evaluator of oral and poster presentations, chairman of scientific sessions at various conferences and seminars. 10. He has applied for multiple patents, including AI-enabled devices in drug discovery and disease management. 11. He is an approved PhD research guide of Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University and Kerala University of Health Sciences. 12. He has held key leadership positions such as Director (Academics), Principal, Vice-Principal, and Professor at various institutions. 13. He has been appointed as Inspector / Subject Expert by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS), and BPUT, Odisha. 14. A committed academician and mentor, he actively contributes to quality assurance, regulatory processes, and professional development in pharmacy education.
