Professional Summary

I am a PhD student in the Genetics and Genome Sciences program at Michigan State University with a dual major in Biomedical toxicology. My research focuses on elucidating the mechanisms of zone-selective steatosis in Metabolic-dysfunction Associated Steatotic Liver Disease (MASLD) using mouse models and systems biology. I use advanced spatial transcriptomics to capture and analyze the gene expression data, decipher the spatial cellular heterogeneity and link toxic exposures to disease heterogeneity of MASLD. I have a background in Biotechnology and a working experience in the immunotechnology industry. She aspires to be a research scientist in the Pharma/Biotech industry after her PhD.
