Stana Bekčić was born on June 6, 1972. in Belgrade. She graduated from the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy - University of Belgrade, scientific field: Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Technology, profile: Biochemical Engineering and Biotechnology in 1997. At the same faculty and in the same department, she completed specialist studies under the title: "Optimization of the process of cultivation of immunogenic strains of Bordetella pertussis in a fermenter", in 2004, and she defended her Master's thesis at the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy of the University of Belgrade in 2008 under the title: "Testing the stability of the vaccine against diphtheria and tetanus with thimerosal and 2-phenoxyethanol as a preservative". She defended her doctoral thesis entitled "Research on the model of an integrated system in the vaccine supply chain and the development of tools for evaluating their effective application in clinical practice" at the Faculty of Pharmacy in Belgrade, scientific field: Pharmacy, and narrower scientific field: Social pharmacy and pharmaceutical practice research, in 2016. In the period from 1998 to 2015, she was employed at the Institute for Virology, Vaccines and Serums "Torlak" in Belgrade, and in the period from 2006 to 2015, she held the positions of Assistant Director of the Quality Assurance Service and Director of Quality. In the period from 2015 to 2020, she was the Manager of quality assurance at AVE Pharmaceutical, Belgrade, Serbia from 2020 to 2022. Quality Control Manager, Hemomont, Podgorica, Montenegro STADA, and since 2022, he is the Quality Assurance Manager of Ave&Bvetmedic Belgrade, Serbia. Since 2015, he has been an external associate of the Research and Technology Center - Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad. He is the author of 2 (two) scientific papers in international journals, author and/or co-author of 4 (four) papers in journals of national importance, 3 (three) announcements at international meetings printed in an extract and 1 (one) announcement at a meeting of national importance printed in an extract.
