Pharmaceutical Affairs Manager; Research and Development (R&D)

Tanja Vručina Klarić, MPharm, Specialist in Pharmaceutical Technology, is a pharmacist and pharmaceutical affairs manager at Ljekarna Salus, Health Care Institution (Croatia). Her professional work integrates clinical pharmacy, pharmaceutical technology, and product development. She has extensive experience in pharmacy practice, pharmacovigilance, and the development and standardization of pharmaceutical services, with a particular focus on magistral and galenical preparations and the implementation of quality management systems. Her current work includes the development of natural extracts and cosmetic formulations, encompassing plant cultivation, extraction technologies (ethanolic, glycerol, aqueous), hydrolates, and formulation of dermocosmetic and natural perfumery products, as well as regulatory documentation (CPSR, PIF) in compliance with EU Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 and GMP/ISO 22716. In the field of clinical pharmacy, her professional focus includes pharmacovigilance and food allergy, particularly severe allergic reactions and their clinical implications. Her sustained interest in neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorders, is supported by several years of independent research and continuous evaluation of scientific evidence, with emphasis on translational relevance to clinical practice. Her research interests are additionally shaped by personal clinical experience within the family context, which has further strengthened her focus on complex immune-mediated and neurodevelopmental conditions.
