Koagne Wembe Wilfried is a young Cameroonian specialized in pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacology, and microbiology. Born in Cameroon, he pursued his studies at the University of Dschang, where he successively obtained a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Biology (2019), a Master I (2020), and a Master II in Pharmaceutical Chemistry (2021). Currently enrolled in a PhD program in Pharmaceutical Chemistry (2023–2026), he conducts his research at the Natural Products Chemistry Research Unit, focusing on the bioguided isolation of antibacterial chemical constituents from Cameroonian medicinal plants.
Between 2022 and 2026, he taught in one higher education institutions ( IESF-Dschang), offering courses in microbiology, pharmacognosy, general pharmacology, and phytotherapy, while supervising numerous undergraduate, bachelor's, and BTS theses. His areas of expertise include the search for bioactive molecules, chromatographic techniques, molecular biology, and the formulation of Improved Traditional Medicines (ITMs).
As the founder of the Koame Foundation, he is also actively involved in the promotion and valorization of medicinal plants through AllPhytoAfrica and the Kaome Health Center (Santé Nature). He is the author and co-author of several scientific communications and has participated in national and international conferences on antimicrobial resistance and phytotherapy, making significant contributions to research and scientific training in Cameroon.
