Professor

I earned my Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry at University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, China (2015). Presently, I am a Professor and a Principal Investigator in the State Key Laboratory of Phytochemistry and Natural Medicines at at Kunming Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Yunnan province, China. My research focuses on discovery of novel (new) compounds from impoatant plants and elucidation of their pharmacological mechanisms for bioactive molecules. I was awarded as a member of Youth Innovation Promotion Association (CAS, 2019), a Reserve Talents of Young and Middle-aged Academic and Technical Leaders of Yunnan Province (2021), an Excellent Young Scholar of Yunnan Province (2021), a Young and Middle-aged Academic and Technical Leaders of Yunnan Province (2021), and a Young Scholar of CAS Light of West China (2023). So far, I have published over 30 SCI papers in journals, including Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Org. Lett., J. Nat. Prod., Bioorg. Chem., Phytochemistry, and J. Ethnopharmacol., and so on. I have been chosen as an emerging investigator in chemical biology in China by Bioorg. Chem. (2024, https://doi.org/10.1016/j.bioorg.2024.107713).
