Norwegian hospital at Gjettum in Bærum west of Oslo, one of the four hospitals of the Vestre Viken health trust together with Drammen, Ringerike and Kongsberg. Provides emergency and acute care, internal medicine, surgery, orthopaedics, maternity and paediatrics for the population of Asker and Bærum, hosts a laboratory medicine department including medical microbiology serving the trust, and runs a hospital pharmacy and clinical research activity.
