Turkish private university in Beşiktaş, Istanbul, founded in 1998 by the Bahçeşehir Uğur education foundation, with campuses on the Bosphorus and international sites in Berlin, Washington and elsewhere. Teaches through faculties of medicine with its own medical school and Göztepe medical park teaching hospital, health sciences with nutrition and physiotherapy, engineering and natural sciences with biomedical, genetics and bioengineering programmes and business and law, and carries out research in biomedical engineering, genetics and health technologies.
