Portuguese non-profit institute for innovation and technology transfer in Coimbra, founded in 1991 by the University of Coimbra and partners, best known for its business incubator. Runs applied research and technology transfer laboratories in informatics and systems, materials and industrial engineering, electroanalysis and biotechnology, provides accredited testing and analysis services to industry, and incubates and accelerates technology companies including biotechnology, medical device and digital health start-ups.
