Swiss biopharmaceutical company at Meyrin near Geneva, founded in 1935 as Laboratoires OM and now owned by a group of investors after periods within Vifor Pharma and Zambon. Develops and manufactures bacterial lysate immunomodulators for respiratory and urinary tract infections including OM-85 sold as Broncho-Vaxom and Uro-Vaxom, and medicines for vascular disease, running its own manufacturing and quality control at Geneva and selling through partners in more than eighty countries.
