Ethiopian public general hospital in Shambu town in the Horro Guduru Wollega zone of Oromia, about three hundred and fifteen kilometres west of Addis Ababa, with around a hundred beds. Provides general medical and surgical care, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics, psychiatry and emergency services for the surrounding districts, and runs its own laboratory and pharmacy services under the regional health bureau.
