Colombian national public university founded in 1867 and headquartered in Bogota, with campuses at Medellin, Manizales, Palmira and elsewhere and the largest university in the country. Its Faculty of Sciences in Bogota runs the Department of Pharmacy teaching the pharmacy degree with research in pharmaceutical technology, pharmacognosy, natural products of Colombian biodiversity, pharmacology and pharmaceutical analysis, alongside faculties of medicine, veterinary medicine, chemistry and engineering and its own university hospital.
