Spanish public university at Seville in Andalusia, founded in 1997 on a single campus at Carretera de Utrera and named after the eighteenth century reformer Pablo de Olavide. Teaches degrees in biotechnology, nutrition and dietetics, environmental sciences, sport sciences and experimental sciences alongside law, business and the social sciences, and carries out research through its Andalusian centre for developmental biology and its centre for molecular biology and regenerative medicine with laboratories in cell biology, molecular biology and analytical chemistry.
