Université de Monastir

Tunisian public university at Monastir on the Sahel coast, created in 2004 out of the earlier university of the centre. Teaches through its faculty of pharmacy, the only one in the country, together with its faculties of medicine, dental medicine and sciences and its engineering schools, works with the Fattouma Bourguiba and other regional hospitals for clinical teaching, and carries out research in pharmaceutical chemistry, galenics, natural products and analytical chemistry.
