The Korea Innovation Medicines Consortium (KIMCo Foundation), led by Heo Kyung‑hwa, announced its participation as a support agency for the “2026 Pharmaceutical‑Bio Venture Collaboration‑Based Technology Development Project.”
The project is promoted by the Ministry of SMEs and Start‑ups and implemented by the Technology Innovation Promotion Agency (TIPA). KIMCo Foundation will work together with the AI New Drug Research Institute of the Korean Pharmaceutical Bio Association (Chairman Noh Yeon‑hong).
Through the programme, the two organisations will provide full‑cycle assistance—from strategic planning to execution and result dissemination—for 30 R&D projects that aim to accelerate AI adoption in new‑drug development and foster open innovation in the Korean pharma‑bio sector.
