Research institute of Hubei Wushi Pharmaceutical, the Chinese drug maker founded in the early 1970s with its production base on the Yunshui river in Anlu, Hubei. The institute was set up in 2009 when the group moved its research centre to the East Lake high-tech development zone in Wuhan, a national independent innovation park. The group manufactures across eleven dosage forms - freeze-dried powders, tablets, hard capsules, granules, distillates, syrups, decocted extracts, oral solutions, tinctures, medicinal teas and mixtures - plus chemical active ingredients, and its Jingangteng syrup, Jubei Banxia granules, Jianshen Changchun paste and Liangyuan loquat leaf paste are designated state-protected Chinese medicine varieties, while Wushi honeysuckle distillate is a leading Chinese brand.
