Prof. Khalid Omar Alfooty is a Full Professor of Organic Chemistry at King Abdulaziz University (KAU), Jeddah, K.S.A. He graduated from Faculty of Science, King Abdulaziz University with a BSc in Chemistry and a PhD in Organic Chemistry – Natural Products from Faculty of Science Sussex University in 2002. Current h-index 16 with 65 publications. PI and Co-PI in many research projects. His current research interest covers synthesis of Natural products, Bioconversion of organic compounds, medicinal chemistry and MOF.
