5,6-Dihydroxyindole (CAS 3131-52-0) is a cosmetic-grade advanced intermediate manufactured directly by Speranza Chemical Co., Ltd., an important melanogen intermediate used as the active blackening ingredient in permanent hair dyes as a non-toxic alternative to p-phenylenediamine and its derivatives. It penetrates into hair keratin fibers for long-lasting, sunlight-resistant color, is certified to a broad range of standards including ChP, USP, BP, EP, JP and Ph.Int., and is distributed worldwide across the Americas, Europe, Australasia, Asia, the Middle East and Africa, though no samples are offered.
