6-Amino-2-hydroxymethylhexan-1-ol (CAS 125162-81-4) is a multifunctional organic synthesis intermediate combining a primary amine with a diol structure, manufactured by BirdoTech to veterinary grade in line with ChP, USP, BP, EP, and JP standards. It is used in pharmaceutical R&D to construct chiral skeletons and as a precursor for beta-receptor blockers and neuroactive drug candidates, and also serves in polymer chemistry as a cross-linking or hydrophilicity-modifying agent. BirdoTech supplies the compound to North America, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, and Asia, though samples are not currently offered.
