Derived from natural lauryl alcohol through an advanced synthetic process, this mild, high-purity sulfosuccinate surfactant offers good emulsifying and foaming performance with low skin and eye irritation, making it well suited to personal cleansing products. It rinses off easily, leaves skin feeling fresh, and offers moderate degreasing power that particularly suits preferences common among East Asian consumers. Because of its high Krafft point, it forms abundant plate-shaped crystals at room temperature in concentrated form, yielding an easy-to-spread pearlescent paste ideal for pearly cleansing formulations; it is available as 95% powder or 85% granules.
