Semisynthetic aminoglycoside antibiotic Arbekacin (CAS 51025-85-5) is a pharmaceutical-grade active ingredient distributed by Beijing Global Biologicals Co., Ltd, which sources rather than manufactures it directly. First synthesized from dibekacin in 1973 and marketed in Japan since 1990 under the name Habekacin, arbekacin is used for short-term treatment of multi-resistant bacterial infections such as MRSA, working by binding the bacterial 30S ribosomal subunit to block protein synthesis. It is tested to in-house standards, with paid samples available, and sold across North America, Europe, Asia, and Africa.
