Pharmacist

I am a pharmaceutical scientist with a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Federal University of Sergipe, Brazil, 2024) and visiting graduate research experience at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). My academic path includes a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, combined with more than eight years of experience across laboratory, clinical, and translational research. My expertise encompasses drug development, pharmacotherapy, and pharmaceutical care, with hands-on experience in experimental pharmacology (including in vitro, in vivo, and ex vivo studies), systematic reviews, randomized clinical trials, and observational research. I have also investigated novel natural compounds for Alzheimer’s disease, and more recently focused on chronic pain, kidney disease, and medication safety. Beyond research, I bring experience in teaching, mentoring, and supervising graduate students, as well as delivering academic courses and lectures. My background also includes pharmaceutical care services, bridging the gap between laboratory science and patient-centered outcomes. I am passionate about advancing drug discovery, clinical pharmacy, and healthcare innovation, and I am open to opportunities in postdoctoral research, academia, and the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry.
