Associate Dean for Assessment and Research

I am Associate Dean for Assessment and Research and Clinical Associate Professor at the School of Pharmacy, Lebanese International University (LIU), Lebanon. My work focuses on academic assessment, research leadership, quality assurance, accreditation, curriculum development, and continuous quality improvement in health professions education. I chair the School's Ethics and Research Committee and contribute to institutional leadership through strategic planning, accreditation, curriculum development, assessment, and quality assurance. My contributions to academic assessment were recognized by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) during the School's international accreditation process. I also serve on the Editorial Boards of Scientific Reports, BMC Pediatrics, and BMC Research Notes, and I am a member of the Academic Board and Scientific Committee of the Order of Pharmacists of Lebanon, a Research Affiliate at INSPECT-LB, and a member of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP). I hold a PhD in Pathology and Clinical Research from Université Paris-Est Créteil (France), a Master of Public Health jointly awarded by the Lebanese University and Université Paris-Saclay, and Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) and Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) degrees from the Lebanese International University. My research focuses on clinical epidemiology, clinical outcomes research, psychometrics, pharmacy education, digital health, medication adherence, and public health. I have authored more than 140 peer-reviewed publications indexed in Scopus and Web of Science and supervise graduate Master's and Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) research projects. My methodological expertise includes biostatistics, psychometric scale development and validation, program evaluation, and evidence-based educational innovation.
