My name is Maria Assunção Piloto, and I hold a degree in Biomedical Sciences from the Faculty of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences of the University of Algarve (FMCB-UAlg). I am currently pursuing a master's degree in Biomedical Research at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Coimbra, where I am developing my thesis at the Endoplasmic Reticulum Stress Response and ER-Mitochondria Axis Laboratory (CNC-UC). From a young age, I have been passionate about science and driven by the desire to contribute to improving people's quality of life.
