MISSION Apply established methods and develop new technologies to measure and improve the biomechanical performance of human bone, artificial joints, fracture fixation implants, and biomaterials in order to optimize patient care, surgical techniques, and health care system costs PROFESSOR: I supervise and teach biomedical engineering students, mechanical engineering students, and orthopaedic surgeons in hospital and university contexts.
