Assistant Research Fellow

I am an Assistant Research Fellow at the Catholic University of Health and Allied Sciences (CUHAS), School of Pharmacy, Department of Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmacognosy. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Botanical Sciences from the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) and a Master’s degree in Traditional Medicine Development from Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS). I am currently a PhD student at CUHAS. My research focuses on medicinal plants used by local communities as primary healthcare resources, with an emphasis on ethnobotany, traditional medicine, and the integration of indigenous knowledge into evidence-based health systems.
