My first job with Divis Labs Limited Hyderabad is a generic company, I worked in R & D and was reporting to my ex-Ph.D Boss who shifted from college to Divis Labs. Four Years I was with him. I was involving making protected aminoacids, protected nucleosides, involving di and tripeptide (a few). Then I joined Orchid Chem in Drug Discovery Med Chem. Was associated with antiinflammation (TNF modulators). Then moved to GVKBio Ltd, Hyderabad. A CRO company. My client is Wyeth. I was involved in making library of compounds ( mg to gram) and multi step of multi gram compounds too. I got an invitation from Orchid again as they were starting a new project beta-lactamase inhibitors. Hence I rejoined again Orchid Drug Discovery chennai. For the last 5 years I am working on antibacterial compounds which are novel beta lactams meant for covering multidrug resistant gram negative pathogens.
