Zhiqing Liu received her Ph.D. from Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2014 under the supervision of Professor Ao Zhang. After 5 years of postdoctoral training in Professor Jia Zhou’s chemical biology program at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB), she joined Ocean University of China as a professor in 2019. Her research interests include the rational design and chemical synthesis of small molecules as novel pharmacological probes and therapeutics for the treatment of cancer, inflammation, infectious diseases, and central nervous system (CNS) disorders.
