Lebanese private university in Beirut, founded in 1960 by the Al-Birr and Ihsan Society and academically linked to Alexandria University in Egypt, with additional campuses in Debbieh and Tripoli. Teaches across medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, health sciences, engineering, architecture, science, business, law and human sciences, and its Faculty of Pharmacy offers the Bachelor and Doctor of Pharmacy programmes together with graduate degrees and pharmaceutical research.
