Diaconia University of Applied Sciences

Finnish university of applied sciences with its head office in Helsinki and campuses in Helsinki, Oulu, Pori and Turku, founded in 1996 out of Christian social and health care colleges. Teaches nursing and public health nursing, social services, diaconal work, interpreting and community work to bachelor's and master's level, places its students in hospitals, health centres and social services for practical training, and carries out applied research and development in health promotion, welfare services and work with vulnerable groups.
