Swiss federal institute of technology in Zurich, founded in 1855 and one of the leading science and engineering universities in the world. Its Department of Chemistry and Applied Biosciences runs the Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences teaching pharmaceutical sciences and the federal pharmacy qualification, with research in drug formulation and delivery, medicinal chemistry, pharmacology and molecular imaging, alongside departments of biosystems science and engineering in Basel, biology and health sciences and technology.
