State government of Oyo State in south western Nigeria, with its seat in Ibadan, created in 1976. Runs the state ministry of health, the Oyo State Primary Health Care Board and state hospitals and health facilities, procures and distributes essential medicines and vaccines for the public health service, oversees the state drug revolving fund and health insurance scheme, and regulates health facilities and premises within the state.
