St. Michael's Hospital

Canadian teaching hospital in downtown Toronto, founded in 1892 by the Sisters of St Joseph and part of Unity Health Toronto since 2017, fully affiliated with the University of Toronto. Provides trauma, cardiac, neurosurgical, HIV and inner city health services, runs the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute with laboratories and a clinical trials unit, and takes part in a large programme of clinical research and teaching.
