Swiss Centre for Applied Human Toxicology

Swiss competence centre for human toxicology based at Basel, set up in 2011 by several Swiss universities with support from the federal government to build up toxicology teaching and research in the country. Works on regulatory toxicology and gives scientific advice to the federal authorities, runs and coordinates research on chemical risk assessment, new approach methodologies, developmental and reproductive toxicity and adverse outcome pathways in European projects, and teaches postgraduate and continuing education programmes in toxicology.
