Research centre of Torrent Pharmaceuticals at Bhat near Gandhinagar in Gujarat, part of a company founded in 1959 as Trinity Laboratories and listed in India, known also for the passive downdraught cooling design of its building. Works on generic and specialty formulation development in oral solids, injectables and transdermal and modified release systems, process and analytical chemistry for active ingredients, bioequivalence and stability studies, and preclinical and clinical work for filings in India, the United States and Europe.
