Provides primary and referral care across internal medicine, surgery, oncology, cardiology, ophthalmology, dermatology, neurology, anaesthesia and emergency and critical care, runs its own veterinary pharmacy, clinical pathology and diagnostic laboratories and a clinical trials programme testing new veterinary medicines, and trains veterinary students and residents.
