Honduran private university founded in 1987 with campuses in Tegucigalpa, San Pedro Sula and Roatán, the country's largest private university and part of the Laureate network for a period. Teaches through faculties of health sciences with medicine, dentistry, nutrition, psychology and clinical laboratory work, engineering with biomedical, industrial and chemical programmes, and business and social sciences, and runs its own teaching laboratories, clinics and research and innovation centres.
