Chinese clinical laboratory in Shanghai belonging to Tongshu Gene, a molecular diagnostics company founded in November 2016 and headquartered in the Baoshan science and innovation park in Shanghai, with international standard clinical testing centres in Shanghai and Changzhou and a GMP compliant production centre. The group combines laboratory developed test and in vitro diagnostic capabilities in oncology precision medicine, obtained China's first class three medical device registration certificate for microsatellite instability testing with its colorectal cancer MSI kit in January 2021 and raised five hundred million yuan in a Series C round in June 2021. Runs a ctDNA precision testing system built on high throughput sequencing and bioinformatics with more than five hundred molecular pathology tests, supporting precision drug selection, treatment monitoring, postoperative recurrence monitoring, risk prediction and early detection.
