Dr. Shivpoojan Kori, is currently working as Scientific officer, Toxicology Division, Forensic Science Laboratory, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow-266006. Earlier he worked as Assistant professor in Department of Chemistry, Biochemistry &Forensic Science, Amity University Gurugram Haryana, Assistant Professor in Forensic Science Division at Galgotias University, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh (India) and Assistant Professor at Government Institute of Forensic Science, Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, India as well. He obtained his PhD degree in the area of Forensic Science (extensively worked in the field of Forensic Chemistry & Toxicology) from Institute of Forensic Science, Panjab University, Chandigarh in 2018. He has been involved in developing & validating the various analytical methods pertaining to techniques in the field of Alkaloids, Drugs and Organophosphorous pesticides. His doctoral research was mainly focused on surfactant mediated extraction of alkaloids, drugs and Organophosphorous pesticides from complex matrices. He has good research papers in reputed publishers in the various field includes Forensic chemistry, toxicology, cyber forensic, fingerprints and natural products. He has published more than 10 scientific research papers in reputed scopus indexed journal. Presently, his area of research interest includes extraction and analysis of analyst of forensic interest from complex matrices using surfactant assemblies. He has associate editors and reviewers of reputed international journals viz. Reviewers in International Journal of Heat and mass Transfers (Elsevier), Associate Editors in Journal of forensic science & Criminalistics investigation (JFSCI) (Juniper publisher), Associate Editors in International Journal of Forensic Science (IJFSC) (Medwin Publisher). He also focused his research in the field of Toxicology, drugs of abuse.
