2-Methyltetrahydrofuran

2-Methyltetrahydrofuran (2-MeTHF, CAS 96-47-9) is manufactured directly by Puyang Hongye Hi-tech Development Co., Ltd. at pharmaceutical grade. It is used in the production of chloroquine phosphate and primaquine phosphate, as a solvent substitute for tetrahydrofuran in Grignard reactions and for benzene, toluene or chloroform in other syntheses, in the synthesis of fragrances and new materials, and as an automotive fuel additive; it is sold worldwide across North America, Central/South America, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, Australasia, Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
