This carbocysteine is used to ease thick sputum, expectoration difficulty, or breathing problems arising from chronic bronchitis, COPD, and bronchial asthma, as well as for pulmonary insufficiency linked to sputum obstruction, post-surgical expectoration difficulty, and pneumonia complications. It is also applied in children with non-suppurative otitis media, helping guard against resulting hearing loss.
