This wet/dry dual-chamber autoinjector automatically mixes and rapidly dissolves doses of up to 0.3 mL (viscosity under 1 cP) via device-controlled mixing, custom needle lengths for IM or SC use, and terminal sterilization. By keeping the drug in dry form until use, it markedly improves the temperature stability and shelf life of medicines traditionally supplied as liquids, in a simple, patient-friendly format.
