A fully automated straight-through inspection system for small vials, built on the HEUFT SPECTRUM II platform. As the first vial inspector of its kind, the HEUFT spotter II PHS pairs advanced optical detection with unique X-ray strobe technology to reliably spot foreign objects even inside opaque products. The compact linear system also detects glass defects, contamination and fill-quantity deviations in vials from 2 ml to 100 ml, and precisely checks the integrity of crimp caps or screw closures, delivering continuous, complete inspection of vials filled with parenteral drugs and other pharmaceutical products.
