Biography Dr. Fazilatun Nessa obtained her Bachelor of Pharmacy and Master of Pharmacy degrees from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. She further pursued her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry at Universiti Sains Malaysia, Penang, Malaysia, completing her doctoral studies in 2004. Joining Dubai Pharmacy College for Girls (DPCG) as an Assistant Professor in 2008, she currently holds the position of Professor in the Pharmaceutical Sciences Department at DPCG. Dr. Nessa has presented numerous research papers at international conferences and has contributed to various peer-reviewed international journals. Her research focuses on the isolation and characterization of bioactive compounds from natural sources, bioactivity assessment of extracts/isolates, analytical method development/validation, and quality-control studies of pharmaceutical and herbal products.
