Pharmacologist

Gift Crucifix Pender is an Assistant Pharmacology Lecturer in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, School of Medicine and Pharmacy, College of Medicine and Health Sciences, University of Rwanda. He is a member of the West African Society for Pharmacology (WASP), an affiliate to the International Union of Basic and Clinical Pharmacology (IUPHAR), Bioethics Society of Nigeria (BESON), and Society for Biomedical-Biotechnology Research (SBBR). He has been in the field of Pharmacology and Toxicology for over 8 years. He obtained his Master’s degree in Pharmacology and Therapeutics from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria, in 2016, while his Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacology was obtained from Delta State University, Nigeria, in 2012. He is interested in Pharmacology based research which include Ethnopharmacology, Toxicology, Chemotherapy, Neuropharmacology, Gastrointestinal (GIT), Cardiovascular (CVS), Endocrine, and Molecular Pharmacology. As a reviewer, he has been involved in the review of over 30 articles in the domain of Neuropharmacology in Brain Research Journal (Elsevier Publisher).
