Dr. Zhu obtained PhD in epidemiology from the Johns Hopkins Univeristy School of Public Health, Master's Degree in Science in Molecular Medicine and Environmental Toxicology, Master's Degree in Medicine and Bachelor's Degree in Medicine. She was a visiting fellow as a post-doc in a Cancer Research Training Program at the Division of Cancer Epidemiology and Genetics OEEB, the National Cancer Institute, the US National Institutes of Health for 3years and 5 months. Dr. Zhu has been a professor in different universities and research institutes in both USA and China for 30 years. Dr. Zhu has been internationally recognized as a researcher with extraordinary ability in the field of public health (EB1A was appoved by the USCIS on January 5, 2015). She is a leader in the use of epidemiologic research methods and the principles of toxicology to solve priority issues in public health, clinical medicine, and health care. The major impact of Dr. Zhu’s contributions in her field is evident, given that her scientific findings have been cited more than 30,000 times by international scientists due to her high quality publications. She has expertise in epidemiology, public health, clinical epidemiology, cancer epidemiology, breast cancer etiology, colorectal cancer prevention and early diagnosis and treatment, toxicology, biostatistics, environmental health sciences, occupational health science and diseases, molecular medicine, and integration of Chinese and modern medicine into disease prevention and treatment. Dr. Zhu as a professor has trained hundreds of medical scientists and workders. She was nominated to be an Editor-In-Chief for the journal of Gastroenterology and Hepatology Research in 2015. She is working as Head of Center for Medical Research in Quzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine which is also named as the Zhejiang Chinese Medical University Affiliated Four-Province-Bordering Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
