Dr. G. Rubalakshmi is a researcher and academician specialized in Biochemistry and Biotechnology with nearly 20 years of experience in research and development. She obtained her M.Sc. in Biochemistry and Ph.D. in Biotechnology, with research interests focused on nanobiotechnology, medicinal plants, functional foods, nutraceuticals, bioinformatics, and biomedical applications. Her research work mainly emphasizes green synthesis of nanoparticles, herbal therapeutics, antioxidant studies, anticancer potential of medicinal plants, probiotic formulations, wound healing biomaterials, and sustainable healthcare innovations. She has actively contributed to the development of functional food products, probiotic beverages, herbal wellness formulations, and nanoparticle-based biomedical applications. Dr. Rubalakshmi has expertise in phytochemical analysis, molecular docking, bioinformatics studies, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory evaluations, thrombolytic assays, and eco-friendly therapeutic approaches integrating traditional medicine with modern biotechnology. Her ongoing research interests include selenium and silver nanoparticles, probiotic functional foods, diabetic health formulations, herbal biomaterials, regenerative medicine, and natural product-based therapeutic innovations with translational and patent potential.
