Dr. Ujjwal Sahoo, is currently working as Associate Professor in Dr. B.C. Roy College of Pharmacy & Allied Health Sciences, Durgapur, ndia. He has pursued his Masters in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Dr. M. G. R Medical University, India and obtained his Ph.D from Sumandeep Vidyapeeth Univerity, Gujarat, India in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Although he has got expertise in Natural Products and Organic Chemistry. Dr. Ujjwal has been engaged in various research activities such as Molecular Modeling drug discovery, formulation and development of herbal insecticides, Bio-similar Product Development etc. He has published more than 50 research publications in various journals and proceedings of international repute. He has published Seven books/chapters. He is the editor of Egyptian Journal of chemistry. He is the reviewer of various national and international journals. Amongst his current research Interest, he is engaged in medicinal chemistry research program involves the design, synthesis, and biological evaluation of molecules that could potentially hindrance, slow down, or come to an end carcinogenesis. He is particularly interested in two different types of chemopreventive/chemotherapeutic compounds.
