Professor

Dr. Zhaohui Wang is currently a Professor at Department of Pharmaceutics, Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Medical Science and Peking Union Medical College. He got his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics from Peking University (2013). Since then, he obtained postdoctoral training at Purdue University and University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. In Oct. 2020, he joined the faculty of Institute of Materia Medica as principal investigator. Dr. Wang’s research focus is the development smart drug delivery system for cancer immunotherapy. He is also interested in the clinical translation of nanotherapeutics with recent work transferred to OncoNano Medicine, Inc. Prof. Wang has published more than 30 peer-reviewed papers in prestigious journals, including Nature Nanotechnology, Angewandte Chemie International Edition, Biomaterials, Journal of Immunology.
